Our Focus
Dedicated to Your Well-being
Welcome to Ascent Healthcare
Ascent Healthcare is a practice for adults seeking a more thoughtful, personalized approach to primary care, for both women and men.
Our care is designed to be proactive, relationship-based, and focused on long-term health. Instead of a rushed, reactive model, we take time to understand your health history, current risks, and goals so your care supports where you want to be in the years ahead.
Ascent offers two care pathways:
• Menopause consultations focused on symptom management, education, and evidence-based treatment
• A small-panel primary care membership for patients who want a more elevated care experience with more time, access, and continuity
Whether you are looking for focused menopause care or a long-term primary care home, Ascent is built to provide care that is personal, responsive, and designed around you.

Ascent Primary Care Membership
Personalized primary care, with Premier Access
At Ascent Healthcare, our mission has always been to provide thoughtful, personalized care that is never rushed or driven by mainstream volume-based medicine. To preserve longer visits, direct provider access, and meaningful patient relationships, we are transitioning to a membership-based model for primary care.
This structure allows us to protect the time, attention, and individualized approach that define our practice and ensure that your care remains comprehensive and personal.
Ascent Menopause
Membership
Evidence-based care, with time to listen

Menopause care shouldn't feel rushed or dismissed. At Ascent, you'll work with a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner in a practice designed for thoughtful, evidence-based care and real follow-through. That means time to listen, a plan tailored to your health history and goals, and ongoing support as we fine-tune treatment over time.
We don't do one-and-done care. We build a plan and stay with you as it takes effect.

Meet Alison
Dr. Alison Farr, DNP, FNP-C, MSCP
I’ve been a nurse practitioner for over ten years, with clinical experience in emergency medicine, cardiology, and primary care. That path has shaped how I practice today. It gave me a broad view of health and a deep appreciation for how often people feel unheard when their symptoms don’t fit neatly into one box.
Over the past several years, my work has become especially focused on women’s health, menopause care, and relationship-based primary care. As a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), I’ve seen firsthand how many patients are looking for thoughtful, evidence-based care and clear answers, not rushed visits or one-size-fits-all treatment.
My practice has two primary areas of focus: menopause consultations and membership-based primary care for patients who are looking for a deeper connection, more time, and a more personalized approach to care. Both are rooted in the same philosophy, creating space for meaningful conversations, individualized treatment, and long-term health.
I created Ascent to offer a different kind of medical experience. My goal is to bring clarity, nuance, and high-quality education to every patient interaction so care feels informed, collaborative, and grounded in science rather than fear or dismissal.
